Vasyl Martynyuk

Vasyl Martynyuk was born on January 16, 1966, in the village of Karpyliivka, Sarny District, Rivne Region. He received his higher education at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn State University, Faculty of Philology. He completed his postgraduate studies at the same university and defended his doctoral dissertation. Since 1999, he has been working as a literary editor for the magazine Blagovist. Since 2015, he has been serving as a presbyter in the Evangelical Church in the village of Knyagynok, Lutsk district. He is the author of the poetry collection Renewal of the Heart (2004). He is the father of six children.
