Anatoliy Khaschuk

Anatoliy Khaschuk was born on May 24, 1953, in the village of Velyka Mochulka, Teplets District, Vinnytsia Region, into a large religious family. He studied at the O. E. Korniychuk Kyiv State Institute of Culture. He worked as a teacher of decorative art at the Kyiv College of Culture. He became interested in poetry while still in school. At the Pilgrim Church (Spokane, Washington), he directs the Ukrainian Harp folk instrument ensemble.
