Iryna Mykolaivna Tvardovska was born on 3 August 1985 in Kaniv, Cherkasy region. In 2007 she graduated from the Faculty of Geography of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She is married, lives and works in Kyiv, and runs her own business. She has written poetry since childhood and began presenting her work in 2014. Her poems appear in literary almanacs and collections from various publishers, above all “Sklianka Chasu” (Kaniv) and the Liliya publishing house (Khmelnytskyi), as well as in the almanacs “Skifiya”, “Flowers of Love”, “Treasury of Wisdom”, “Thoughts of a Romantic”, “Vyshyvanka” and the “Anthology of Contemporary Ukrainian Short Fiction and Lyric Poetry”.

In 2017 she conceived and organised the poetry collection “Lyrics of My Soul”, which brought together the work of young Ukrainian poets. She takes part in literary and poetry evenings in Kyiv and has worked as a journalist, writing for the magazine “Touch” and the agricultural publication “Propozytsiya”. In 2019 the Samit-Knyha publishing house released her book “How to Become Healthy and Beautiful”, on health, beauty, motivation and personal transformation. She also writes song lyrics, and in 2019 registered copyright for more than ten of her own. She continues to write poetry and to develop her own creative projects.
